 The Columbia Basin Chapter of ARMA is pleased to invite you to join us for an educational program on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. This program will be an afternoon presentation, so please feel free to bring your own lunch as we will not be providing lunch for this session. However, the program is free.  It will be held at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Dr., Richland, WA 99352. 

Featured Speaker

Our featured speaker for this event is Chris Dunbar. Chris has over 10 years experience working with IT consulting firms, enterprise-wide school districts, and the healthcare industry. Chris is currently the Information Technology Supervisor/Systems Security for NV5/Dade Moeller.

Program Topic

What Threats to Watch Out For on Your Home PC or Work Environment!

This program will provide information about specific Antivirus programs, Malware programs, the differences and why/what you should be doing to keep your information and data protected.  What is a Zero-day attack? What are the latest 2017 attacks? How are hackers changing their methods to become more relevant in 2017!?


Lunch will not be provided for this session, but you are more than welcome to bring a lunch with you.

Who can attend?

Please note that you do not have to be a member of ARMA or the Columbia Basin Chapter of ARMA to attend this meeting. Guests and visitors are always welcome!

Registration for the afternoon presentation will begin at 11:15 A.M. and the program from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

A reservation is recommended in advance to ensure adequate accommodations for our program.

Reservations are requested by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

The Community Center is in Amon Park.  From G Washington Way take either Lee Blvd (Jacksons Sports Bar) or Bradley Blvd (Roasters Coffee) to Amon Park Drive.
